The two skits that Ellis and I did were examples of satire the first skit was a example of satire because we used a lot of witty puns during the dialog. Such as how when the police man asked how high Ellis was, Ellis corrected him by saying no officer it's hi how are you but knew the officer knew ellis was high. Near the end of the skit the punch line comes, the cop says that ellis's character is under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon then Trevor holds up a salt shaker and a knife, a salt with a deadly weapon. This is funny because the two things sound very much alike, but mean two completely different things misleading the audience. This is a form of satire, because things are not as they seem to be, and there are many examples of play on words. The second skit is about a hot dog vender but he does not sell actual hot dogs he sells dogs. but Trevors character does not know that so he acts as if he were buying a hot dog and asks for condiments on it. The vender knows that it is a dog so he is selling so he thinks that Trevor is crazy. Once the video is over you figure out why Ellis thought he was crazy and it is funny. This is satire because there is mistaken identities  like how the vender sold actual dogs not hot dogs. In conclusion these skits were forms of satire and that is why this project is humorous.

I thought this was a very funny and enjoyable read, but honestly what could be worse than loosing oreos to an uncontrolable flame?I enjoyed both the choices of interviews, and the fact that they made something devastating into something a little more light, and funny.

I thought this video was the perfect combination of wit, and hilariousness.  This video is extremely funny, and makes me laugh everytime.

Prince George EVIL Pine Needles

In recent news pine needles have indeed become animate objects and planned a fire in a local Prince George sawmill. According to the workers of the mill the pine needles propusfully became dry and flammable. This incident is truelly tragic, 2 dead, and 22 deadly injured, and why? Because of pine needles. Authorities have started making search parties to find these pine needles, and make sure they pay for what they've done. In europe the general of deffense has decided that they will have a zero pine needle tolerance policy. Now any person flying, or driving into europe with pine needles will be sent back, or even in serous transportation issues may be detained. 


Pine needles have always been an issue for residents of north america, since we first settled here they have dropped in our pools, hot tubs, hair, and other such intolerable acts. They have also had many sticky incidents in their constant tree war with sap. Casualities are happening just to frequently kids going home with sap and pine needles on there hands and feet will no longer be tolerated. Its time to put a stop to this.

First Satirical Blog Post

Within my extensive research of other races I have found that all races are completely excepted into society. I have found that different races are only threats if they have skittles, and ice tea. This for some reason triggers humans imaginations. Other races have always been excepted in society from before the american revolution to modern times. Hittler was a major supporter of all religions,and races, I believe he was credited with writing the first draft of the "bill of rights" which declared freedom of religion, press, speech, and more. In all the articles I have read it has been stated that african american people, and other races have never been profiled in human history. In conclusion the whole human race has all ways been treated equal and always will.

What is Funny?

In my belief funny, has a different meaning for different people. We are all unique, and different so why wouldn't we find different things funny? In my mind satire humor or humor having to do with mocking are own idiotic ways, or the idiotic ways of others is funny. I also enjoy many types of basic slapstick in your face comedy. Comedy is a beaautifal way to connect and ineract with people.

My Life as a Migrant Worker

I was born and raised in Texas, but when the great deppresion came around and there was no more money, or crops, I tired to migrate to Napa Valley, California. I thought that California was the best choice because it has mild weather in which I could hope to farm all sorts of crops. There was one other motive for migrating there, my cusin Alexander, he was working on a farm there and he said he was doing well, and that it was lots of fun. I decided it was time to set off, so I packed up the few belongs I could afford to keep, and left the next day. Once I arrived it was nothing like I expected, bad food, awful living perameters, mean workers, long hours, and worst of all low pay. However the bright side is, I have somewhere to live, food, and a little money. I may have to just tought this one out,  I am one of the few lucky people that does have a job and isn't in a completely insane war.

The American Dream

According to www.Dictionary.com "The American Dream" is:
 The ideals of freedom, equality, and opportunity traditionally held to be available to every American.This however was never accomplished, there is still in-equality affecting each and every american citzen today, usaully depending on there gender, race, and religion. Freedom was another thing we never accomplished, every day people are getting there rights taken away or brushed to the side by the goverment. The goverment that would rather see millions of robbing, and stealing white men and women than one african american young man walking home from school. Opportunity? The country is so in debt that even if you get a job the pay will be extremely reduced and there aren't nearly enough jobs to really get one. The American Dream, was always a dream and never a reality, I would like to one day see a world where this dream becomes a truth every wqhere, not just in america.
